will it hurt my leaves if there is water on them while the lights are on? just figured maybe it can burn those spots...

Yes it can burn those spots. This is one reason I don't foliar feed.

Well water drops can cause burn spots like a magnafying glass but depends on the lights heat.Some people like to mist plants but as long as its a fine nute free mist should be ok .Its big drops to watch.

I sprayed with heavily diluted superthrive during early veg, works great for me.

i use liquid extasy in veg but just once every 2 weeks, and spray with plain water in flower stage. i spray them 3-4 times a day with no signs of burn using a 1000 hps in a 5x4 room
