Can the pressure be to strong from the bubbles? I noticed on one of my plants, the longest root has vanished, so im wondering if the bubbles were too strong,

I run a 110lpm pump on two 5 gallon buckets...if that doesn't produce too much water turbulation, then I doubt that's a problem for you. What size is your airpump? I know that if you don't have enough air stones, it can push the air out of a single stone with a bit much pressure sometimes...but still haven't ever seen it break roots...just degrades the air stone more quickly.

I think I'm using a huge air pump lol, 793gph, ive turned my manifold down about halfway so it's not as strong, I guess after doing the math it's only 50lpm so not as strong as yours

Ah well i doubt thats the problem then, but I've only been in hydro for a few years so far, so I could be wrong.
