I checked into one of these like a long time ago... and well, just so you know in advance it is crap. YES, you want to alkalize your body, but not your stomach lining. Alkalizing your body occurs in your blood stream with clean water, nutrients, and electricity. And of coarse there is more to it...
What you 'may' want to do is research along the lines of cleaning water tech (such as R.O. or R.O types... Living Water, John Ellis water) and also Ozone types such as an Aranizer Water unit.
Consider in nature there are creatures that produce electricity in water (not jelly fish...)
The best way to mechanically understand how this works is to consider that plants gradually take oxygen from water, just like we gradually take oxygen from air in a room.
If you close the door, cut off ventilation, you'll notice it gets stuffy because of lack of fresh air. But, hook up an Aranizer(air) in your room under those conditions and youll have a clear nose and best sleep of your life.
Consider that plants uptake nutrients from water and this is effected by the oxygen, so having activated oxygen in water will not only provide a better water growth environment (for hydro/aero especially!) but also allow the plant to use more nutrients.
Ways to optimize this further, optimize growth method (wheel, hydro, aero), air qual(CO2 - C effected by heat... Heat source CO2 = best, O2 effected by aran as an optimized buffer for plant air - just like Helium is an optimized buffer for breathing air for humans...)

And LIQUID cooled lighting preventing heat from dispursing CO2 at the leaf tips which is often a reason for lowered potency and heat related problems occuring.
I was actually looking at 2 types of systems... a Canna' Cage with 4 400's liquid cooled (a retailer on ebay with liquid cooled units for 140CDN intended for 400) or a Volks Omega which is 2300ish but only one light. Would only liquid cool a 600 or 1000 in this system...
Potentially with the Canna Cage you could run a SP2 (sulphur plasma) with a light tube down the center??? Could also do this with several omegas side to side...
