Whats Up Friends.. My first actual DWC grow. BGS Indica. I currently have it under 4tuber t5 mixed spectrum, 64k and 27k. I plan on flowering under 400hps. Temps at 33% and 77F. Res temp is about 68-70F. Regular double hose pump. Is there any genuine advice from any genuine person that would be willing to pitch a few morsels of gnosis at my catchers mit, Id greatly appreciate it. Thus, im keeping a weekly post for you to see the results that you provided. Thanks in advance.IMG_20160406_202308.jpg

I guess everybody is too professional to pass on insight. Its a good thing i do have a blessed Soul to get the info i need on my own. I'll figure it out though. Anyway it seems to be ok 6 days later. IMG_20160414_113857.jpg

Are those rocks? Interesting, I;ve never seen anyone use four big rocks as a medium, but it looks like your girl is rocking it. :D

Apart from that I think you're doing great, it won't be long until explosive growth starts. How's your pH, ppms/Ec etc?

Hey thanks for the reply. The rocks are simply just to give the little plant some appeal. The clay stones are under the black grow bag covering. No rock wool. Just carefully placed an inch above the clay stones at the bottom. I have mind of where the plant and central separates. It is currently under a few hundred watts of CFL. My two center tubes went out on me in my Apollo T5. So i had to improvise. My nutes are GH. My PH is always between 5.3-6.1 at the most. PPM is at 1106. Im using tap water until im able to get RO system. I will definately be flowering with HPS. The roots are riding wave style on top of the solution. And I only have two gallons of solution running off of a two line pump for right now. Im still somewhat unsure because of tap water and waiting on my water meter and air cooling accomadations. You know what i mean. Already though, i have a 20 gallon rubber made trash can and lid and a roler for the trash can in my Amazon cart, because i plan on mastering this hydroponic life in addition to the passion of just growing. But thank you for your input. Oh yeah, im not sure what E.C. is but im reading up to better grasp the concept of it.

Planted directly into the clay pebbles seems like a good idea, no hassle included when you have to water the rockwool, transfer it, keep it humid etc.

Well it looks like you have everything dialed in! The ppms are a bit on the higher side, but it looks like you have a hungry strain that's loving the feeding. It's also good that you're waiting for your RO system. I was using my 250 ppm tap water, which I thought was enough for quite a while, until I started having lockout problems. There was too much calcium and that in turn stopped the plant from absorbing magnesium.

Ever since I started using RO water I have been having no problems whatsoever, but the occasional Cal/Mag is needed.

I'll be watching with interest, I'm currently doing my first DWC as well and I have to say it has been a lot of fun.

If I may, I would suggest getting some kind of sterelizing agent to keep all those nasties dead and/or incorporate some beneficial bacteria to keep that root rot out.
