what kinda lights should i buy. the light i got right now is producing way to much heat>...

A CFL, of the highest wattage you can find and also a fan, these two combined should resolve your problem quick and cheap.

I'd go to multiple 42w cfls. You can get them locally in both 2700k and 6500k (and you do want a mixture), they produce less heat, are easy to move around, go in ordinary clamp reflectors.

buy a cool tube for ur bulb and hook it onto an extractor. if uv already paid good money for a light it may work out better for u if u just cool it down. cfl are always an alternative but they arent as good as hps/mh.
