Wasting less water?

I recently bought this RO system, 2 stage. Its really slow and I realized I need a faster one. But my biggest concern is the clean/waste ratio. I cant find the ratio on it anywhere.

I think its 3:1. Im filling up about 55-100 gallons a week of clean water, I cant consciously waste all that waste water. I already watered my whole yard and plants 3 times and 1 - 55 gallon drum is only half full. Can anyone recommend a better RO thats a 2:1 - 1:1 ratio? Im willing to spend more $ to ease my conscious and not completley waste a ton of water. Has anyone used a 1:1 ratio RO?

Ah yeah well, you went the cheap route and I doubt it would handle a 70psi booster pump.....I don't see a place able to put a flow by limiter in it either.....So a better model RO is the way to go.

I like this one for your needs. It comes with the little bypass limiter to reduce your waste to 1:1 if you so choose to install it. Keep in mind it reduces the membrane life by 50%.

Now your going to need a high pressure booster pump to fill that tank in one day.
