Washington State MMJ/"Collectives"

In WA State MMJ has been classified under a rememdy that many states are using. Instead of classifing MMJ as a presciption they allow for Dr. recommendations to be a legal MMJ holder/grower.
There are many "dispensaries" and they all tell me that they are part of a "collective",(ok, enough quaotes) that even though technically not legal they are ignored by the police based on the Dr. recommendation that everyone carries. Since they themselves are patients then they are allowed to assist patients in procuring the medicine for the patient under a non-profit orginisation.
Well, this is bullshit. These people are holding way more weed then a patient is allowed and they are making BANK.
I'm not pissed they are making money, I want a piece of the pie also. But 2(my wife and I) people can't grow enough weed to sell and make a profit with. Which is of course breaking the law. But how is a dispensary supposed to expand and feed and clothe its employees?

Recently dispensaries were sent a notice that they needed to start collecting taxes. Much like California I suppose. I'm sure they will comply but the dispensaries say they are non-profit and you can't tax non-profit. Or they say, if we are non-profit then you must make MMJ a legal medicine. Which also cannot be taxed.

Where am I going with this? I'm not sure. They weed sure has got a lot better now that I'm growing some decent shit.... legally.

Man, the atmosphere for business potential here in Washington is so ripe you can practically see the fruit dropping of the trees... I want to be eating the fruit!!!! I will be!!!!

Wish me luck! :leaf:
