Greetings!
so at the end of summer I bought what was claimed to be a ten strip of acid for 60 bucks. It came as a strip about 2 inches long, maybe quarter inch or less wide, and it was just white with a stlightly different texture on one side than the other. Also, it was wrapped up in aluminum foil, and was not perforated, so i had to cut it up myself. I had friends who wanted it and I didn't have time for it so I got rid of most of it and was left with one very sizable hit.
I had a lot of stuff going on in early fall and never found the time to try it out. The piece of foil just sat inside a plastic box, mostly inside my desk drawer, in a room generally with a cool temp.
Last night I had a friend over to play music and decided to just take it, thinking it would do nothing, seeing as I had gotten it three months ago. this was at about 12 am. i also had a bunch of ganja butter, at about 12:20. I should say, I've never taken LSD before, my only psychedlic experiences are with mushrooms (many times) and morning glory seeds (twice). still, I feel I have a good feel for 'the psychedlc experience' as much as one can say that at all. Though I wasn't expecting anything, I must say I feel I had a definite psychedelic experience, unique from anything before but with noticeable visuals (faces contorting, generally waving of space, vibrating, things relating and juxtaposing in 'novel' ways), great sensitivity to music, chatiness and self exploration, self-consciousness, etc.
It's hard for me to know exactly what the unique effect was though, because of the large dose of ganja butter, but this was not something marijuana had ever produced before. I spent the whole night with my friend at my house and his, and about 5 hours after taking it I drifted home and tried to go sleep. I was still zooming and having crazy sensations of swamps and moss and cathedrals and other indescribable sensations for maybe an hour or two and gradually drifted into a kind of sleep at some point. I had to wake up at 1 pm (fell asleep probably at 7) and at that time still felt a very percievable alteration in consciousness. .
So if anyone managed to read most fo that, does that sound like it would have been LSD? I thought the paper would have had designs on it and it didn't, and several other things lead me to have doubts, but the effects were very plausibly LSD induced from my understanding. Any thoughts?
P.S. my area is in Northern New England, approx. 4 hrs from Boston if that helps. That puts me as 1 of about 1 million people who live in that northern band of the tri state area, I won't specify further.
