i just noticed on my happy frog soil bag it says "warning: ingredients are natural substances from the state of california known to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive problems"

im growing in my living room would breathing the same air as the soil bad? or is it just saying if i were to eat it.

i know this sounds very weird but if this is the case id probably move my location or change my soil

Na its from California. They have that label on everything because they think everything causes cancer. Trust me its on just about everything over there.

Just don't eat the soil if it was a serious health hazard the EPA would of banned it.

Edit: After reading over the label and the law its a comical joke. Coffee has the same warning due to containing acrylamide in very minute quantities. In large doses that you will never consume it can be toxic as all things, but the trace amounts of chemicals are not a risk. Your tap water is more of a risk.

Yeah, I have noticed this on various organic soils and fertilizers... Espoma plant foods have the warning label now, and even Alfalfa meal.

Not too concerned about it, although it is definitely best practice to wear gloves and a dust mask when working with these products (and guano in particular).
