If you get caught by the police for growing marijuana you will get in serious trouble. they will tack on possession and intent to sell. if you are afraid of getting caught then i suggest you not attempt to grow.

Both have drawbacks and advantges as far as security go, and as mentioned, LEO wont care what kind of structure you're growing in.
