wardrobe grow advice

im going to turn a wardrobe in to my new grow box. wardrobe size is 186cm high x100cm wide x60cm deep. ive already got a 5inch rhino pro carbon filter/fan 365m3 with a 600hps and cool tube. as i did have tent but need to be more stealthy.do you think a 600hps will be to hot.i can afford a 400hps if need be.i will be removing air straight outside through air vent for intake was going to run it like i did the tent were i just had flaps on bottom open.any advice appreciated.:-o

temps here warm at the minute but wont last to long after all it is the uk. i was going to try those 400 ceramic metal halide bulbs if 600hps was to hot but carnt seem find them in the uk.

you would be surprised at what a 400w could do. air, soil/nutrients, and plant management (training, scrog, etc) has EVERETHING to do what a plant could produce.

I use a 600w HPS lamp in a dimmable ballast. I will "dim" it to 400w when we get heat waves here.

yr mate seen some nice 400hps grows i will buy if needed but would like to hold on to my 600hps if possible.it only done 1 grow.ive never done scrog but i do plan on trying it.im looking at a aqua farm at minute someone is selling but if i miss out on that ill be useing coco with canna a+b as i have enough left over from last time. myob do you just dim the 600hps bulb down to 400 or switch the bulb to 400 also.

I grow in a similar sized wardrobe, I use a 400 watt MH/HPS with an a/c air cooled fan. I know that a 600 watt would be too hot for my cab so it's safe to assume that it will be too hot for your space as well.

ok m8 i will see how it runs when ive finished wardrobe and if need to ill go with 400hps/mh. well i decided seems as i wont be useing tent any more i would at least use some of it.so i cut it up as it was same width as wardrobe 100cm and was a little taller so i trimmed it to size and used a staple gun to attach it to back im going to do the same at front then put doors on.the tent was only 50 pound of flee bay and i didnt want to sell it to anyone and it should be great for keeping it light proof.:-|
