wanting to transplant

ok so i have two plants in one 2g pot as you see. at first i didn't care about them as i cared more about autoflowers. and they aren't autoflower which is why they are together. but now i seem to like want to separate them. the two plants are now 17 days. i gave them 2 weeks of veg and after then i put them into flowering. (i don't want tall plants, instead i want small.) hence why i only did 2weeks veg. umm how would i go transplanting one of those plants that are both in the same pot?

note:( the other 2 are autoflowers. but then i learned after i received them that autoflowers are a waste of money as i can just take non-autoflowers and put them str8 into flower. and it would be the same. so last time i buy autoflower seeds.)

well you have to be careful not to damage the root system, i would try to untangle them the best i could and hope for the best. i agree about the autoflowering plants i am growing one now and its not growing like a normal plant should. dont know if its the strain or what

would it be ok to do it under the hps light? like do i let the roots exposed to light? don't they go into some shocking.

Do a bare root transplant …… remove the plants and soil and use a hose that isn’t turned up to high pressure and wash off all the soil (if a hose is not handy but you have something like a 5-gallon bucket you can fill it with water and keep dipping the root-ball until the dirt is off). Then after you can see what you are working with gently untangle the roots and then replant each plant in their own pot..
