wal mart dosent sell black strap...but they do however sell "grandma's unsulphered molasses" which will work just as good..

Do I use it the same , say a tsp or tbsp per gallon, should I warm it up first then mix? Thanks.

Use a teaspoon for vegging and a tablespoon for flowering. And yeah you should heat it over the stove with half water and then add it to your mixture, its much more soluable like that. I just got a gallon of Grandma's at Smart & Final for 15 bucks
