wall material for grow box

I have some stuff called astro-cooler that is used in transportation, hvac, and construction applications. it is very reflective and holds warmth and reflects cold, it will also reflect heat if reversed. it is made of bubble wrap and some type of foil stuff ???
has anyone heard of or used this in a home made grow box? I am slowly getting a 24 inch X 40 inch X 60 inch box built and would like to use this stuff...it is unfortunate that my budget is very low. I can paint the inside white, but with cold weather coming it might be better with the astro-cooler stuff.

Never heard of Astro-Cooler, sorry. But it sounds (and looks) like Reflectix. Reflectix is really good stuff, even though it's a bit pricey. It's small (about a quarter or half an inch) bubble-wrap, sandwiched between two layers of Mylar, one side is a bit more "bumpy" while the other side is a bit more "smooth".

There may be an issue of fumes from that material, u could grab an emergency blanket from local dollar store an use it they work excellent

Thanks T.H.Cammo and daemon, it might be sort like Reflectix...only has foil stuff over 1/4 inch bubble wrap on one side... I never thought about fumes from it...I've had it rolled up in a shed for at least 7 years or so... good to hear that emergency blankets will work ..that will work out for me.

The emittance of reflectix is less than .06(ppm?). But I'm not too concerned with it since it is rated to go in houses anyway. And I have an exhaust fan.

Here's what I use in a 2x4x5.5' veg cabinet and my main flower room. HD carries it (in Canada at least), google DuroFoam, it's reflective on one side, not much different than mylar, and provides some insulation. Comes in 3/4" to 1 1/2" thick, 4x8 sheets, the 3/4" is about $12/sheet so very economical and easy to work with/cut/shape.
