Waited too long when starting seeds

So I waited too long when starting seeds and the seeds fell off. Is this okay to bury (pic attached)? Would yellow part stay above soil mix?

It's why you plant directly into soil or coco or whatever medium you want to use. Skip the goofy paper towel method.

Get it in the dirt.Should make it. But that is too long in germ. LOL.

Actually at dirt level or just covered. Suggest at dirt level as photo cells are appearing active.

Delicately plant it and leave this growing tip above surface level.

Next time plant in wet soil and skip the wet paper towel. If the point of the wet paper towel is to germinate the seed it's an unnecessary step. If the seed will germinate in a wet paper towel then why wouldn't it germinate in wet soil?
