I'm in Eastern Washington, an currently my medical card is expired. An of course all the laws have changed. But I'm curious how many plants I can have at the moment. I know the state says anyone over 21 can have 4 plants. But does that mean, me an my roommate both can 4 each? or just 4 per house parcel?.. any info would be gladly appreciate ty in advanced!

Renew your card, register with the state. You will be able to grow 15 plants per household and you will be immune to arrest and prosecution. It doesn't give the right for anyone to come on your property to inspect your grow. The database cannot be used as a tool for police to harass you out in the field. They will not have access to that database. Your registration card is your ticket to grow and avoid arrest and prosecution . The only way they could ever come see your grow is if they had a complaint (from neighbor or landlord for example) or if they knew you shared or sold some of your medical weed. It does not give anyone the right to come to your garden. I have researched extensively this registration process and what it entails. I was very reluctant to enter any database. After speaking with my doctor and speaking to others in the know, registering is the best thing to do in Washington state for someone that wants to avoid the recreational pot shops and grow for themselves. Recreational users CANNOT grow for themselves. You must register to grow legally in Washington state.

Non registered mmj patient can grow up to 4 plants per household I believe. Having a registration card will give you some protection from the law and increase that number to 15. You must ask your doctor to allow you to grow 15 plants and tell him you plan to register when you renew your mmj script.

Database registration gives you a six plant limit; the 15 plant limit must be specifically prescribed.

Self sufficient recreational growers need to move to Oregon to be legal (four flowering plants).
