Virginia helicopters???

I live in Va and currently have 2 plants outside growing in thick weeds. Do the VA state police fly over private property or just national forest? what time of year do they fly around looking for plants? I live outside of town and i have alot of corn fields and soy bean fields surrounding my house, its also close to a river.

Yes and No, this mainly depends on County. If it is only 2 plants that don't scream out, you will be fine. They are mainly looking for Fields. I grew outdoors last year and know many outdoor growers. There are counties (Giles for sure ) that fly national guard helicopters specifically looking for growers. ( I watch them fly up to my moutain a few times a year, but never fly over) however it really needs to be a field of smoke or a large plant in the middle of a field for them to spot it. Just make sure the weeds don't die off to much before harvest.
