This is Carly, she is 4 weeks old and stands about 11", ahe is a mix of blueberry and northern lights. She is gonna be my momma. This is my christmas present to myself is finally starting a grow. I have a closet, 2x4x8. currently am running 2 two foot flo bulbs one 20 and one 40 watt. i have a cheap grow bulb hangin from the top and two 23 watt cfl on either side. I am curious if she is to young to clone yet, I havent started any kind of nutrient cycle yet, just water and 20/4 light cycle. The setup you see is all temporary as I am waiting for the stores to open back tomorrow and then i am planning to upgrade to a 150 watt cfl + what i got now for the mother, and buying a 400 watt hps for flowering my clones. my closet has a back room in it that is 1.5x2 and the mother will be back there in constant veg and seperated from the other part of the closet. Any suggestions anyone with more experience could give me before i start drilling soon would be appreciated id like to have a nice idea of how i can set up the closet before i do, such as how to hang flos and maintain the mother and when to buy nutrients, how much water, anything you got throw at me. here are three pictures enjoy and thanks.

Lookin pretty good! I would wait untell she has some side branches that are 3"-5" long, and then take them as clones. How do you know carly is a female? Whats goin on with the top leaves, have you cut them? Have you been checking your ph levels of water? What are you using for ventilation? Here's some pics of my flower room(closet), and veg room(basement) for referance.

Aight thats good feedback man thanks, lot of questions, um well i know she is a female because i got some buddys doin a big grow op outof town and i brought some supplies to em and they gave me her for now and about 5 more to come soon. The top leaves are kinda curled man and the only thing i can think of is one of my lights fell onto the flourescent fixture and melted it a bit so i think thants some leave burn...if not let me know what you think it is cause i have no idea. Not quite sure what i need to do to check the Ph levels, and for ventilation well right now the heats been off for a week since i got her so i got a heater/fan in there with a thermomostat on it set to 75. let me know what to do about checkin Ph i figured i just had to buy somethin from lowes that tested Ph...

So carly has grown about 3 more inches since christmas, shes got a real pungent/sweet smell if you get close to her. I have upgraded a litlle bit since the last time i posted...went to Wal Mart and got two 23 watt CFL's i think replaces wich is 150 watts of HID on the side, And one 42 watt cfl hangig from the top (150 HID), a also got one more flo grow 2 ft 23 watt (75 HID) florescent tube like the one i have already but i havent put it up yet. so that gives me "supposedly" or "reportedly" according to the i net and the boxes around 6000 lumens and around 400 watts totalHID if thats right??? Any experience or opinions...in the next week i will add a couple more CFL's probably a 50 watt big boy also take a clone or two...heres some pics, any opinions appreciated.
