I used to run Neville's Haze outdoor. I hope for your sake that the viperspectra keeps them short and bushy. Mine used to get really tall and as Yodaweed says, they take a while. Lst and scrog sound like a good idea!

Cindysid what's up, I noticed even at 36" gap nodes looked good, one inch apart not bad, now I lowered light to 24" recommend for veg by viparspectra and stacking very short nodes space,

Careful on your watering habits, cold and constantly moist medium can cause major issues down the road..........leds have slower transpiration rates(no IR), adjust accordingly

good luck

medium should always be evenly moist(not sopping wet), what do you think blumats do?

If that is causing you problems, your medium doesn't have enough aeration.

Furthermore, letting your medium dry out is killing microbes and slowing your plants growth.

how many people used blumats then stopped because they dont like how wet they keep medium? or how shitty the plants turned out? ffof needs a wet/dry cycle like most organic soils.not bone dry but to give this kind of advice is not good.everything @PSUAGRO. said is accurate so theres that also haha.

FFOF isn't organic, that's why it isn't organic certified and is called "Smart Naturals".

Proper organic soil should be kept evenly moist. That's why you use mulch or cover crops as well.

And finally if the blumats are keeping your medium too wet , that has to do with how you originally set them up. If you did it properly they shouldn't be too wet, it's all about how you set them to begin.

Fox Farm ocean forest is not organic, it has ammonium nitrate in it, that's why they lost their organic cert years ago (before you even started growing kiddo)

That's why the bag says "Smart Naturals" on it now, it used to say "Natural and Organic"

Test the soil for yourself to find the real truth. I make all my own soil mixes for quality control.

You do realize the world "Natural" is one of the words that can be used in nearly any situation but it literally means nothing. The only time the world "Natural" means anything is when you buy chicken, than they have to specific what they meant by "Natural" in all other terms "Natural" is an ambiguous term. And i am older than you if you are 34.

You are still focused on my age, good try to shift the subject, and not actually listen to the facts, FFOF isn't organic, hasn't been since like 2009. You can insult me all you want , but it still don't change the fact you are using crappy soil that has synthetic additives in it. Not to mention every bag of FFOF comes with fungus gnat lavae, they are fully organic though....
