Viparspectra or Marshydro?

Keep an eye on the Black Friday deals, all of the light manufacturers will have them-this is the best time of the year to get lights with the discounts. Check out Medicgrow for another less expensive option that still makes good lights, and HLG for higher end lights-I love both of those because they only use white/red chips, the light they produce looks quite nice.

Agreed with everyone saying this made in America thing gets old.

nothing is made here. It is assembled here at best. The only things that matter is if the company has a reputation to uphold. HLG as an example has a reputation to uphold. So when HLG communicates with their manufacturer in china they say “I want the best and will pay the best.” It’s as simple as that. Budget brands will say “I want the best within this price range.”

I know from past experiences when buying large amount of iPhone replacement screens. It’s the SAME manufacturing plant that apple uses. The only difference is you get what you pay for. They will produce a wide range of products with different ratings. Of course when you buy larger amounts at a time you get steep discounts.

I want to upgrade my lights. What u think marshydro or viparspectra?
Neither. I'd wait until Friday when HLG's 25% off sitewide sale starts. It ends Monday. HLG assembles a lot of boards here in the US. The diodes are not from China either like a lot of people seem to think.

Are the components hand or flood soldered by a single operator?
