so just received this in the mail, threw a seedling under it and was wondering if anyone else has used/is using this light and what their results were?

Fine for veg, but something more powerful is reccomended for flowering.

it can veg a 2 x 2, flower 1.5 x 1.5, and yield 2 oz or so. This is based my personal xp with mars300 on my first grow, seed to harvest.

your mileage may vary.

Growing in 2x3 but just one lady, so it'll be soaking up in the middle

Technically, I had 2 mars 300 in a 2x4 with 2 ladies to start. I ended up with 1/2 of one plant, with each half of that having its own light.


This 1/2 of a plant netted 4.25 oz dried and cured, about 2 oz per mars300

You should do fine.

Awesome!! I upgraded from a 2' t5 fixture LMAO! I'm hoping for durastic changes cause this will be the 2nd plant I've ever grown

I have 1 300watt viparspectra I'm in first week of veg, I was thinking of getting a 600watt to add during flower or should I flower with hps?

I have a Unused Viparspectra 600w , and these VS lights look good for Veg but i think you should look into building a helper light for flowering or buy a flowering light.
Im going to build a 200w pure flowering light to use with the VS 600 flower mode in my 2x2.5.

Certainly hope mine could turn out similarly.. Have two ak48 fem veg'n under one 300 Mars hydro and plan was to flower each with its own 300..

It's a 127 watt light.

It's not nearly enough to bring a plant to full potential.

There's a reason they're cheaper than shit.

Get a better light. Period.

You can get a good T5 fixture for a very reasonable price and do far, far better than that piece of shit you have.

Call them all you like, there are better lights yes.. but vipars work and will get you some nice bud.

I would advise to save up and get a QB or cob set up but if you really only have Like £50 to spend then vipar are a good option
