Hey All below is a video of my sick plants, I tried flushing tonite with RO water and checked the ph levels of the Run off water with my ph tester dropper kit and it was RED!! very low! around 4 or so. The leaves are all dying and turing brown, the healthier leafes are starting to turn brow with spots. I feed with the foxfarm schedule. I am a total noob, Please someone give me some guidance. Everytime I feed i take my water taht is phed around 6-7 and fill up a gallon container. I then add the fox farm noot schedule of Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom, I also use Cal mag 5ml, Liquid K 10ml per gal and Sweet 10ml. I then feed my plants. Am I missing something? Do I need to check and adjust Ph level of the water and nutrient mix I just created? is that wy my soil ph is so low and creating Nutrient lockout?? Pelase help. Below is a link to my video!! Thanks for all that can Help I really need it!!!

Its the best, what is the legal limit to what you can grow in oregon? is it based on square footage or per person? how much can you have on you and in your possesiion?

could be to much (N) nitrogen so cut back on the feed for a while, curling down leaves like claw i was told is to much (N) so flush with plain water for few days

Ph before and after to try and get a more accurate account of what is being absorbed by the plant and soil.
As for the plants, I'm not sure. Sucks to see it happening, especially if you don't know how to fix it or whats goin on.
I hope you get it all worked out!!
PS. Nice grow, and setup.

by the way I am growing in soil....Am I still suppose to Ph the solution before I feed it to the plants?
Definately, fill a container with the amount of water you want to give the plants. Add the nutrients and any additives then ph the water to around 6 to 6.5.
Gotta check the ph.
Nice vid too bro, great veiwing!

You have to PH your water after your mix your nutes. And im almost 100% sure your EC is way too high with all of those nutes you said you were using. Cut back on some of them. You dont need all of those.

Yeah man, ur PH is definitely off. In ur text u say the PH is low (around 4), but in the video u say it is high..
Id say its a Phosphorous deficiency..

What do you suggest I stick with? Just the foxfarm diet? Is the liquid K and Cal mag not best to use with every feedign? how bout the sweet?

I have a soil, light, and PH reader, when i stick the probe in my soil the meter wuold read bet 7 and 6. But then when i tested the runoff from the bottom of the pots with my ph dropper kit the ph levels were 4 or so, defintiely red!!! I never ph'ed my mix before i fed and I think its def nut lockout which is causing my plants to slowly die!!! FUCK!! I think my probe is messed up or not reading the ph level correctly in the soils

Per person, 6 mature plants, 24 or so clones(under a foot tall and a foot wide), and a legal ONE AND A HALF POUNDS of medicine. (leaf counts as medicine here for some reason, but there is no size limit or square footage limit or limit to the amount of lights.)

And each person can grow for up to four people.(if you have all the paperwork right to back it up and they're legit and legal too)

Still can be not quite enough if you're trying to make it through a whole year on an outdoor grow though.

So my babies look like this now and I'm working on getting them even larger in future runs:

I would just stick with the fox farm diet. That diet is pretty good. I wouldnt even use the cal mag or liquid karma. The liquid karma just helps to promote good roots so after a while you dont really need it anymore. The cal mag is only for if you use RO water.

Not true on cal-mag only being for RO water. I don't think I've made it through a single run that I didn't need extra cal-mag type supplements even in dirt and I've never used RO water only aired out tap water. But it's not something you just give all the time, you give it only when the plant asks for it with signs of deficiency. (At least that's how I do it)

I only give additives based on what the plant looks like. Not preventatively. But then again I am only beginning to use things like sweet, liquid karma, hygrozyme. For years and years and years I grew closet style with small lights and they just don't need much. Now that I'm growing monsters with big lights they run out of everything really really fast and beg for food every day.

I get so sick of their begging all the time it's as bad as my chihuahua's begging for treats. Maybe I do need to work out a preventative schedule when I settle on a strain or two and get things ironed out more.

Yeah, i'd say ur PH is too low giving u a lockout of Phosphorous. In soil P is only available wen ur PH is 6.5 -7.0.
So sounds like ur definately too low.
N I wudn worry bout any Cal-Mag until u fix ur PH or u wil just b wasting it.
Calcium & Magnesium only become available @ a PH of 6.5 -9.0.
Good Luck Friend :)
