Not a Kid Rock fan myself. Didn't he support Trump and say the country should be run
more like a bizness for a change? I feel he's an opportunist and using his fan base - lower middle class whites - to further himself. Waning career in music like Nugent. Politics the new showbiz.
And comon, his podium says "United States of 'Merica"? Representing the Dumbed down?
Shouldnt it be 'Murica? Fucking reallife Idiocracy.
Same old divisive class war language by a rich man in this speech as Limbaugh
or Fox News uses - the lower class deadbeats are the ones taking your tax dollars.
The immigrants are to blame. The left are trying to destroy your traditions and
your history. Nationalistic scapegoating. A distraction from the widening gap.
No mention of the big government spending of the Right. War, Drug War, Police state.
No mention of the intrusion of government into peoples personal lives or states rights
over the federal government how to govern themselves.
We have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights ffs.

We may have a bill of Rights but we also have a Federal government that's unilaterally rescinded it.

They can violate them anytime they want.

IF you survive and IF you have the resources to sure, you can get monetary compensation. Maybe. Someday. And the money doesn't come from the violators, it comes from a slush fund, covered by the taxpayer.

And those who violated your rights don't get so much as a write up in their record, let alone prosecuted.

Does that sound like you have rights?

Sounds like a complete and total lack of accountability to me.

I answered your question, now you answer mine:

So tell us how we DO have rights under such a system?

We don't, but this is nothing new.

You are right, and I get your point. My post would have been better
without that last line. It's moot. Those documents mean nothing if not upheld & defended
by/within our system of governance. Sometimes theres some good news though:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/volokh-conspiracy/wp/2017/09/13/house-votes-to-curb-asset-forfeiture/?utm_term=.5d407b763b48

It's frustrating that even the most basic right of being innocent until proven guilty
is a political dance back and forth for years, decades. CAF shouldn't even exist.
It's blatanly unconstitutional but has been going on for decades with federal approval.
The main problem is the ignorance of the general population to their rights
and a fool like Kid Rock (or Donald) selling them a lie with targeted marketing.
People who don't know their rights under these documents shouldn't even
be able to vote. Why isn't there a mandatory course in high school on this? hmm.
This is why our elections are a reality show circus.
