very week trunk?

Im on day 9 of my first grow. I sprayed it with water today and the thing fell right over at the base?

I used FFOF soil. I have 2 full spectrum 100w bulbs, a 600 watt HPS and 2 day light 4' fluorescence bulbs in the room running 18/6. I have a fan blowing in the room but not on the plant. just enough to make the leafs blow a little. My temp is between 70-80.

Right after germ, I went to a 1.5" starter block. I'm doing everything I thought I should have but it just fell over?

Any ideas would be great. Is it possible that I have to much light, and it didn't root well enough? If so what can I do now?

How moist is your soil? Is the base of the stem a funny color? Sounds like it might be root rot.

it gets watered every few days. I water when it's dry about an inch down.

Are your lights close enough, because the stretch shouldn't be that bad.?

That sounds ok then.. Like Green Croos said, is it to tall because it's stretching towards the light, and can't support itself?

how close are your lights? and why so much light for a 9 day old seedling?

Well I have the lights in the room so I turned them on. I also have some Basil that i started 2 days ago for the wife.

I have my lights far enough to not be hot to the plant, but it is 2' off the plant. I put a paperclip steak in it and will put more direct fan on it. let you know in a couple of days.

You should put a cfl like 1 inch away from the top and like you siad the fan is important
