image.jpg Hey Everyone :)

Doing my first grow now. Started with 8 bag seed from some really nice stuff. Thought I would end up with 4 at best- so planted them all thinking that should get me some plants... Well it did- 8 female plants! I am in week 2 of flowering. Any advice is welcome.image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg

Lol- right???? I just may have to do that! And thank you :)

Just a quick thought... Do you guys also find that you have to water more frequently in flowering? It also could be the additional lights added are helping dry them out every couple days now. I do alternating feeds with nutes and plain ph'd water.

And also- how soon can I expect thes things to stop growing vertical? So sick of moving these lights! #cflproblems

I'm 4 weeks in to 5 gallon pots and now I have to water everyday...but yea I'm totally opposite of you I'm 7-7 males on regular seeds....that's why I buy femized lol....but yea about 21-24 days I'd say on stretching, obv things CAN be different....good luck, stay reading on problems because the biggest thing that happens is when someone gets a problem then freak out and make it worse ... goodluck

My experience teaches me that bag seed = hermi
Here's hoping my ladies stay classy ladies! I have heard the same. I have tried to mitigate the other things that tend to stress them and hermi them, so I will remain cautiously optimistic until I see any bananas or balls ;) Since the seeds were free and I really haven't spent much on grow supplies, anything good I get is a bonus ;) This whole grow has been very unpredictable- with the number of females and not having the space for all of them! I actually started out calling this my "jackass tub grow" because I had to put them in my master bathroom tub with lights and a great window to provide supplemental light until I could make more space in my cabinet. After all these curve balls I have found that I actually really enjoy the growing process! So even if it all falls apart (hope it doesn't!) it won't be in vain.

That is what I read a lot of. New growers tend to overdo everything so I have tried to keep that in mind. Nice to be able to learn from others mistakes for a change ;)

Yeah. That was how I started my very first op years ago. I ended up with all herms. But it was still some really good smoke, just not as good as now.

Looks awesome!
I'm guessing that since you got 8 for 8 on the females ,that the seeds were feminized seed from a hermie mom.
That being said ,you might have the next top strain!
But diligently keep an eye out for male flowers to form, especially down low on shaded nodes.
Best of luck.
Peace

Ok... Hopefully my luck isn't running out... This plant (Her name is Minerva) is giving me problems now. I suspect I may know the problem, but not how to fix, so I need some advice.

Minerva is retaining water! All the other plants in the same style pot are draining properly and were nice and light for todays watering... But Minerva was still super heavy. I am thinking the drain holes on the bottom are clogged. I tried to hold her at different angles and tried to push the stuff out of the way through the bottom with the end of a little paint brush, but to no avail. I almost tried a flush to see if I could force the clog out, but then thought better of it because I dont want to make the problem worse.... Anybody have a suggestion on how to save poor Minerva? ;)image.jpg

Before doing anything drastic just take notice that some plants use more water than others, depends on the strain. Even if you have multiple plants of the same genetic, the phenotype can differ. Just give it water when it needs, not all of them are the same my friend. As long as it's leaves are healthy and it looks good, then you good, dont complicate things.
