vertical lighting.

Hey guys I was just wondering if I wanted to go with vertical lighting. Would I need to get a specific ballast that supports vertical bulbs or can I just buy a vertical enabled Metal halide bulb and plug and go?

just buy the bulb and gooooo

Oh so could I buy any 250W MH bulb and use it vertical for example??

Speaking of does anyone happen to know a really good store that sells bulbs dirt fucking cheap? Over exaggerated example like 1 buck for a 400W MH bulb?!

The ballast doesn't care, it's the bulb that you should be worried about. It should clearly state the intended orientation on the package.

Get a bulb that has a U after the wattage... that means universal.....
