Vertical grow?

So I've been toying around with my setup and decided to try hanging the light down into a circle of plants rather than having a hood overtop aiming the light down onto the canopy. I can get about 12 or so plants around one light, each about 14 inches away from the light (maybe a little more). Heat doesn't seem to be a problem right now (and the fans blastin on em just incase). Any thoughts on this? Anyone ever tried this?

I've not done it, but seen it before. It's called BoG, Reactor Growing,VScroG etc. Works great from what I hear!

I dont see why you need to re-invent the wheeel...but that's just me
