Verrrry noob grower need help

my plant is 2 weeks old today since the germination phase... i have an extremely haggard setup with 1 100w 120v flourecent floodlight and 1 3 speed fan... i know already that the tinfoil is a big no no since it cause hotspots or whatever i plan on bying some mylar to civer the walls of my small grow cabinet... i was thinking about buying some T5 HO flourecent lamp that is 2 ft long to be my light source would this be worth it or should i save up more money for a more serious growing system... even though it is ghetto it seems to be working great the plant is growing off the hook and is already half a foot tall at 2 weeks old since it was germinated ... thanks for any help it is much appreciated

dont use links dude

you dont need maylar or foil just paint flat white.
thats even cheaper.

tin foil is ok but turn shiny side in.
if you dont want to use tinfoil just use matt white paint on the walls.

My god I thought I had a screwed up grow room lol. Hey man whatever works works.

t5 is good if u need to save power i would get a 250 watt hps

are you growing in mud man? Next time you need to lighten up that soil a lot with some peat moss and perlite.
