Vermeculite

Can it be used instead of perlite? Say someone mixed vermeculite with MG organic soil, added some dolomite lime..... Would this be good for clones?

No perlite and vermiculite are different things. Perlite is used to give the roots something to hold on to and they let the soil breath. Vermiculite soaks up water and holds it. Perlite is important.

MG is too hot for MJ all together. Use as a last resort and expect losses.

Anyone think the MG soil would be too hot for young clones?

Are the clones rooted, or do you mean as a cloning medium?

MG organic isn't all that bad, like some of the MG mixes.

I'm not a big fan of vermiculite because of the water retention. But it does have its uses in seedling mixes and perhaps for rooting clones.

You know nothing of MG, you just read shit online and repeat it.
MG has all different types of soils. Organic, Auto release, Perlite with drainage,
Potting soil.. The auto realease ones are horrible, perlite, organice, and the potting soil one is fine.
