I just got a venus fly trap and put it in my grow room. I don't really have any bugs (very very few ) does any have or has had one. I seen them at the store and said it would be cool to have one and my girl just brought one home for me.

The science and nature store in my local Mall carries those things.
Always did think it would be a neat thing to have.

Who am I kidding, id try to turn it into something like in "Little shop of horrors"

Mine is little a big gnat is what I just fed it but you can feed them crickets, fly's, or any other insect that it can fully close in it's mouth.

Plus I just read they can live completely immersed in water for months at a time....

Just some info.

I don't really know how big they get size wise.

And a lizards would probably fight to much. The plant waits til a bug bends it's triggers and then closes in less then a second but it doesn't close it all the way for a while. So the lizard would probably fuck my plant up. LOL

If the trap can't close all the way then bacteria will kill the trap.
