thats how i did it, and got away without cutting a hole in the wall!

u cant see the pic well, but you put blinds close to the glass(window open just a crack to appear closed from the outside) and the black fireboard or plywood sheet or simelar (which is 1" smaller so there is a gap for airflow) over the window frame. then make a box a little bigger than the window frame to cover it all... with a vent hole cut in it ofcourse. the gap should be at the opposite side of the window openening and the vent hole should be at the opposite end of the gap.

hope this helps those who live somewhere where they cant just cut a vent hole.

o yeah, dont forget to use clear caulking on all joints to make a seal.
