Venting to garage?

So I was planning on not using an inline exhaust fan for my grow but I'm thinking I won't be able to get away without doing it.

My setup is a 3x3x6 space with an HGL 300L RSPEC light. My question is, can I vent the air to my garage (with a carbon filter)? Or would I be better off venting it to the outside of my house? If I have a good filter and adequate fan (proper CFM's) will the smell be 100% disguised? Obviously I know it won't be when the tent is opened.

Smells should be in check.
The humidity you'll be pumping into the garage is the problem.
It could cause mold issues in the garage.
That's mainly why you should vent outside.
I'd be tempted to try it and see how humid it gets.
Maybe vent the garage to control it.

Well the tent is humidity and temp controlled now. I have a dehumidifier in there but hardly have to use it. So hopefully there wouldn’t be an issue with humidity in the garage either.

If you can't vent outside or vent the garage;
I'd run the dehumidifier in the garage.
If it's available to you why not.
