venting question

Im going to tge hydro shop in a little bit to get a 600 watt to replace my t5s and i was wondering if theres a good chance it will smell out side my house if i vent it into my roof my neighbors houses are close. I have five aproxx 2 ft tall ladies that are just starting to flower. I dont have many other options cuz im in florida and its to hot to vent it inside and the outside of my house is cement also i dont have a basment.

Why not a carbon filter? They are well worth the money. Even better, make your new HPS a cool tube and connect to filter. I guess there's a slim chance a filter's overkill, but you definitely won't have to worry about odour for the next year(ish)...?

yea carbon filter, i bought one that was 2 feet tall or so, with a big ass fan thing on top. people would walk in the front door and be like daaaaayumm it stinks in here (when plants were in closet, in room on top floor of house), after the filter, no smell.

just make your own carbon filter with aquarium carbon, its way cheaper to make than buy........

How does a home made compare to a shop bought one? I may have spent enough money on my grow....

Thank$ guys im gonna get a hepa carbon air filter since i got my new 600 wat set up used and i dont want to vent it any more im just gunna turn up the a/c
