venting lights

hey i was wondering how you should vent reflectors, suck in outside air with all that moisture? or do i need a scrubber or something. thanks

That depends on if you mean outside the building or outside the room. I never bring in air directly from outside my house into the grow area. I bring it in from my work room adjacent to the grow room. I live in a northern climate and that wouldn't do in the winter or summer either.

I pump air off mine but am wondering if pumping inbound air would be better to keep heat down on a 1000w. I wouldnt blow in outside air either unless its filtered.

i mean taking air from outside a building yeah but sucking 1000 cfm of air from my house will get pricey during winter months when im heating that air :/ im in a northern climate also... any ideas would be a huge help thanks

its always better to pull air out than it is to push air in. also if your worried about heat costs in the winter time, you can have your exhaust ducted to your bedroom or living room. i actually plan on getting some kind of switchable ducting so i can switch between exhausting outdoors in the summer, and exhaust in the living room in winter to help with heating. there shouldnt be enough moisture in the air to damage anything, at least i never had any problems. you dont need a scrubber but i would highly recommend one. lot of ppl dont because they have medical cards and dont care about cops. however you have to be very careful with thieves. seriously no matter how low crime is in your town, ppl are always looking to break into houses and take off with your gold mine. another thing you could do is setup a honey pot like i plan on eventually doing. purposely make it smell very skunky to draw thieves in. when they break in, depending if your state law allows it or not, shoot the cocksucker in the head if you want him dead, or worse, shoot him in the sack and let him live. throw him in the yard and call the cops. this is a good way to get rid of thieves in town. sorry to rant but i fucking hate thieves and a lot of them need death.
