Ventilation Setup First Closet Grow

Hey I'm growing for the first time and need some help. I'm pretty good with everything except ventilation its really confusing me.

I am growin in a closet, about 5' x 9', high ceiling, with a 1000w lumatek with a hortilux hps bulb.

Do i Use a different fan for bringing in air and taking it out or what?? And how do i connect a fan to the ducting to the coolable reflector??

On top of all this how do i incorporate a carbon filter into all of this or do i not even want to worry about that until flowering?

So do i wanna go with an air blower, an inline fan, or a power fan?? I'm looking on this site for them

thanks a lot I know i have a lot of questions i really appreciate it.

Two of those active airs will do it. One 265 and the 180 cfm for the light.

From outside come in with ducting and to the light, from the light to the fan and outside.

Then the other fan exhausts the room mounted up high through the scrubber. Make a fresh air inlet on the other side of the room low. In-line fans are better at pushing then pulling.

You need the fan on while the light is running so put it on the same timer.
The other you put on a thermostat.

Alright thanks a lot but will these connect to 6" ducting and to the 6" coolable lamp? One side looks kid of square.

Also, what does put the other on a thermostat mean?

a much simpler and still effective set up is:

a passive intake (a hole) into the grow space then inside the grow area:

carbon filter-ducting-inline fan-ducting-lights-ducting outside the room

for a 1000 watt light i would use a 440cfm fan

Okay but I assume this way will only work for a reflector hood that is not sealed? Sorry to make this more difficult but i had been thinking about upgrading to the Sunleaves arcticsun reflector which is sealed airtight so it can be run without affecting CO2 levels.

(I had originally thought that all aircoolable reflectors were like this until you told me you're setup idea. i figured that they must not be since you had me running the carbon filter in this it would make no sense if the air never touched anything but the inside of the ducts, lamp, intake and not any of the air with the smell.)

thanks a lot for your help

oh my bad i had originally thought that the carbon filter side of that setup would be connected to outside the room as well and confused myself
