Ventilation question

Hello there.

First time grower so everything is worrying me

I'm using a 70x70x160cm grow tent

My inline exhaust fan is a 4 inch systemair rvk with 4 inch rhino pro carbon filter

250w MH/HPS lights

Fan speed controller with temp sensor

6inch circulation fan at the bottom

using passive intake vents on the tent. there are three 9inch x 4inch vents.

I hope that is enough info. So my question is how many of these vents should be open? I currently have 1 vent fully open. The temperature is fine and negative pressure seems okay based on the tent fabric being pulled in slightly. I'm just worried it may not be getting enough co2 or some other problem

Skip the speed controller you won't want to slow down that fan or shut it off in lights out
Let it run
Open them all and see how odor control is but leaving the fan on is imperative to controlling the smell
Fans are cheap on power usage BTW

Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned that it's an autoflower and lights will be off for 4 hours a night

Yeah, I was also worried that the fan would slow down during lights off due to temp dropping. So lose the temp sensor and run the fan at full blast?

It's still in veg so no smell yet.

So after keeping a second vent open, the temperature increased by 5 degrees C. What does that mean?

Probably the air going in was warmer to start with.
Are you exhausting the heat out of the room?

What is your temperature at canopy level?
