Yo everyone! Hope your all good. Been out of the game now for a little while due to relocating...

Anyway i'll cut to the point, im going to be making my next room in the attic and its really well insulated and really warm up there. Im planning on putting my tent in and all the previous extracts (rvk 125ml intake) (rvk 250mm extract) run by sms twin fan controller.

There are no gaps in the roof because its a new build so what im asking is what would be the best for ventilation? Im planning on drilling out of the side for the extract but where can i get my fresh air from? I was thinking cutting a hole in the insulation of the pitched roof and replacing one of the tiles with a vent?

Im really open to any ideas. I think im gonna get rid of the 250mm extract aswell because it was giving too much neg pressure to the tent plus it was really loud. Thinking of replacing it with the same size as the intake? The sms will control the neg pressure though im assuming.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Ok, so your exhaust should be much larger then your intake, so running the same size intake as exhaust is no good. I would recomend using your intake fan as your exhaust and eliminating your intake fan all together and just using a passive intake (no fan, only a hole). Let the exhaust do the work. As it is pulling air from the room, the negative pressure will then pull fresh air through your passive intake.

Cutting a hole in the roof, and installing a roof vent is a great idea. Only attempt if you have a bit of experience roofing as u van cause alot of probs. If u have to, i would hire a professional to install it prior to setting up your equipment. It will prob cost u $150 max to have it installed.

Good luck

Thanks a lot man! Thats very true im gonna get a pro to do the work as i will probably brake my neck! Thanks again :)
