vented hoods

yes, more than adequate actually. I have a 440cfm cooling two 6oo watters and I can touch the glass with my hand. The hoods themselves feel about room temperature or less. That is with air temps around 55 degrees (i'm drawing air from outside).

if i may make a suggestion, I would put some kind of filter on your intake, nothing major, to keep any creepy crawly things out of your grow room.

Also, the aluminum dryer hose has much less resistance but doesn't like to be moved around a ton. Either way, I think your pulling plenty of cfm so no big deal. Also, PULL the air through your hoods, don't push it.
