Vegging with bloom nutes...

Hey guys!

So I've got this beautiful 8 week old Trainwreck (GHSC) vegging in a five gallon bubble bucket. The plant is quite impressive (by my standards, you old pros might have a different opinion), and I am VERY pleased with my first growing experience. Perhaps I'll throw a pic up and you guys can tell me what you think.

Today was time to change out the old nute sol'n and I had plans on swapping the MH for an HPS and flipping to 12/12 tonight. Accordingly, I switched from my FloraNova Grow to FloraNova Bloom, but looking at this big beautiful lady, as well as her sad soil grown sisters, I'm having second thoughts and considering another two weeks or so to veg; perhaps giving her sisters a bit more time to catch up. They are VERY pathetic, bad soil I suspect. Regardless, I'll never grow soil again.....

I was just wondering though if it would be necessary to swap out my bloom nutrient solution and go back to grow nutes. I'm reticent to do so as I have very little thrivealive (I love this stuff! You should see how it effects hydroponic growth of cacti!) left and I hate to waste any, I think I may have just enough to finish this grow. I suppose what I am wondering is if an anyone can tell me what effect the lower N and higher P will have during the veg cycle? I suspect foliar growth will not be as vigorous, but any other foreseeable problems?

Any input would be awesome. Thanks guys!

WHOA there cowboy!!!! NEVER use a high P fert for vegging!!!!! In fact, I don't jump to Bloom feeds till week 3-4 of flower when using synthetics !!!!
Ok, the problem will be that you will get the lower leaves "yellowing" starting with the stem/fan leaves and it will progress up and out the branching.....this problem is very often diagnosed as low N......WRONG and increasing N will do nothing for the problem! High P is also tough to stop as the plant actually stores P and is available to it for as long as 25-30 days (see why I don't up it till 3-4 weeks into bloom).

Your soil plants are going to BE slower then hydro all the time! I can just about exactly duplicate the yield in soil, but not the speed of hydro in comparison.

If you have already put the plant in the Bloom feeds.....you must bloom it...The plant has already begun the higher P uptake!

ive grown plants on bloom ferts exclusively they didnt mind other than it didnt have enuff N. to grow super fast in veg . I will say the quality of the nute will dictate any responce good or bad by the plant whin i start flower i mix the 2 for first 2 weeks of flower for the stretch and switch to flower ecslusively after
