Vegetative Preflowering or Autoflower

Hello, I have a question. I grew a couple of plants from some bagseed. After about a month of 23on/1off light cycle, they showed signs of pre-flowers, and I killed the males. Well now its been over 4 months from seed, still on a 23/1 cycle, and they look like this.

Are these girls preflowering, or did I get an autoflowering/lowrider bagseed? If they are of an autoflowering type shouldn't they be dead by now?

Your input is greatly appreciated on this matter.

They were started from seed in order to be mothers, they have been the most resilliant to whatever I threw at them, overwatering, underwatering, high temps, overfert, magnesium deficiency; There are 3 survivors of 12 from bagseed, after killing 6 males. If they were lowrider or autoflowering wouldn't they be dead by now? They showed sex a little over a month from sprout. They are 4 months and a week old as of tomorrow. I am currently attempting the cloning process as of a week ago. 4 clones of each plant, so 12 new babies. Been foliar feeding twice a day 1/10th strenth organic bloom forumula, removing the lid every other day, and about to put them under 2x40w flours.

Anyways,
Is this just extended preflower growth during the vegetative cycle? Or are my they full blown flowering under a 23/1 cycle?

I would, but they are meant to be donor plants for a clone army!:cuss:

I had no intention of flowering them since I wanted mother plants...

damn looks like it didnt work you way this time:joint: you must of got an autoflowering strain cuz thos are flowering. my advice is to fnishi off the harvest, smoke the buds, and try again.
peace one day.

If they were an auto flowering type shouldn't they be dead? Autoflower/Lowriders only live for 2 months, these are twice their age.

What is going on here? Has anyone else experienced something like this? :joint:

Stunted Autoflowering/Lowrider Plants magically reverting to a somewhat vegetative state, I am seeing new leaf developments from donor clone locations. :eyesmoke:

lowryder will not get very tall...your plant cannot be lowryder its like 4 ft.

They look like they are ready to harvest other then there isn't probably much wieght after they dry out...

What should I do? I have 12 1week old plants (first try at cloning) Plus three mothers that look like they are ready to be smoked.

The Mothers are showing new leaf growth from clone donor locations.

Is there any other information I can provide that would be helpful to figure these plants out?

Can I get a verdict anyone? What should I do? Should I keep growing the mother plants and try to keep them alive? Or should I chop them down and dry them? And what should I do about their baby's?

I'll attach a picture of the clones that are 8 days old in my next post.

damn thats weird... I would have saved a male and made seed seed and then you would have had your very own autoflowering strain... those are the shit out doors cause u can pant alot of them and they are really hard to spot.

im growing a auto flowering strain(lowryder dwarf mix) ..... your plants look to tall to be lowryder...but if u say they showed preflowers after a month then it's a auto flowering strain of some sort from my understanding u cant clone auto flowering strains....u should jus harvest...

Well heres the pictures I promised (clones). I'll post more close-up pictures of the mothers in my next post if that helps.

If you've been growing them 23/1 for four months and they flowered then they're auto-flowering. They've already shown their preflowers. It looks like they're getting ready to be chopped down. If you want a mother plan you can't let it flower completely. If it weren't an auto-flowering strain you could force it to show sex by putting it into 12/12 and then reverting back to 18-24/6-0 to put it back to veg and then use cuttings to clone... however... yours are in flower and you can't revert to 24/0 cuz they're already on 23/0.

Grow. Check trichs (or whatever you wanna do to determine when they're ready). Chop. Trim. Dry. Cure. Smoke.

Also dude, ur clones like they need either more water or more light or both. I don't know the specs on their condition tho. Make sure not to overheat the little ladies tho.

They have only been under direct lighting for the last 24 hours, they have been in a seperate containers for the last week taking the lid off ever other day under indirect light. Temperatures during the day can reach 85 degrees, at night they drop to around 72. Humidity is 45-65 %. I use all organic nutrients, 5/1/1 Fish Emulsion, 1/5/5 Bloom Formula, Organic pH down, tap water pH is 7.5 I also have a aquarium air pump that oxygenates my water, noticed that the pH increases after bubbling.

Here are some more pictures of the mothers. Look at the new leaf development on the last picture from where I took a clone.

Well I cut one down, not one you saw the pictures of, it was significantly punier, and all the hairs had turned red, and looked like it was beyond the good harvest point. Its hanging up to dry, i'll see if it even gets me high...

Anyways this is a learning experience, and I've seen a plants progression till it beyond harvest and drys up. I still have at least 6 other plants from another batch of bagseed (different local than the others) that are still in veg, one is almost 4 feet tall. The others are ones fall into the survivors category. Dam weed is pretty forgiving. Overwatering, underwatering, nute burn, magnesium deficiency, root bind, I just didn't have the heart to put them out of their misery. I used bagseed from some pretty stoney stuff that was a shame that a good percentage of its potency was lost in seed development. I have some Mazar seeds (Dutch Passion), and some Fruity Purple (Descriptive Bagseed) The seeds have a dark redish color to them, and were insanely resiny nugs; which I'm saving for once I get my exhaust fan installed, and my 1000watt HPS.
