Vege time affect total height?

Right u guys i am arguing this with a stubborn fellow grower of mine please help me settle it once and for all

Will a plant grow taller during flower (total/max height)
if given an extra week or two vege time? (Say 2 weeks vs 4 weeks)

To me this is a nobrainer...

For the advanced and for debate: while the above question may be a nobrainer, how about this one:
Will an xtra week or two vege affect total yild? Keeping in mind that it is a horizontal tent/confined space indoor grow.

Ya man ur right that's all a plant dose in veg its like a teenager they grow grow grow then u switch to flower and it grows for about three weeks it doubles in size can also triple in size
