Training...."mainline" technique....topping and lst...20130429_080849.jpg...everything comes off two branches at the first node...go to "subcools old school organics" section of the site and find the mainline thread.....awesome training and growing style

Nice... I just wanted to know, if you have unpluged your garage door opener? Just incase someone hits the button by accident....

nice. i actually am familiar with that technique from that thread, just never tried it out on a plant. nice to see someone using shared info from this site, and nice to see people so eager to help eachother. thanks guys

Whovian Alert! I too am a whovian!! Anyway, Im currently putting together my first grow, I have a small grow area planned something like 4'h x 3'L x 3'w I currently have 2 65w cfls, but was wandering if I need more, say maybe 4 of them to get nice results? This area is going to be in my basement ( I live in Northern Indiana ) where the temp rarely gets above 75 Deg down there even in full summer. And question 2.. Since my area is going to be a little short on height, for my first grow should I start flowering cycle at around an inch or 2? or should I let them Veg for a few weeks before forcing them into flower?

U can keep ur plant short and stout w training techniques...topping fimming and tying down...I advice this cause if u flower at an inch or two #1 ur plants not gonna be mature enuf to flower.. #2 u wont yield anything worth while....and I recommend a minumum of 400actual cfl watts per plant for flowering...200 per for veg.....veg em for at least a month
