So I picked up an instant tea for veganic growing called "OG tea" it was a booth attached to buds and roses and kyle kushmen apparently endorses it!

Anyone ever heard of it, or used it yet?

what base medium would be used with veganics?

Dude said I could add it through all growing cycles! I noticed a very low N so that's possible! I just figured I got 110 gallons worth so I can run a 6 plant cycle on it and try veganics! It's called veganics special sauce from og tea!

Hey Chewberto - there are a couple of stickies over on the Organics forum that cover Veganics. I bet you can get a base soil recipe from one of them.

Good luck with the experiment!

"Veganic" is supposed to be both organic and vegan. In other words, only using organic sources of vegetable matter to make the food. I'm running the GO Box, which is veganic with the exception of the pressed squid, and I'm happy. Then again, that's the only food I've ever used, and stumbled upon it at the grow store one day (I needed nutes of some sort, and the handy-dandy little box had small bottles of the full run for about $30 total, versus the other $25/per bottle stuff). Anyway, that led me down the path of organics/veganics, and I'm happy with it. So, after my unnecessary, off-topic rambling, here comes the kicker: I have nothing valuable to say about the product, but I'll keep an eye open for it to give it a shot. I've been thinking about an organic tea, but don't want to piss off the wife with a giant, smelly, bubbling bucket of things. Instant tea sounds perfect!

Cheers, and I'll stop rambling now. I promise.

[Ramble. Ok, I lied. ;-)]

from what i hear the main advantage of veganics is the nutrients are all derived from plants and are plant soluble at a wide range of PH so with veganics there is no need to pH

The instant factor is what drew me in! I want to create a "supersoil" type base minus the fish and blood and essentially just water with the tea! I guess Ewc are fine but guano is not! It's gonna be interesting to say the least! But I am always excited for new stuff and results!

Sweet! Ill get u something else interusting in return!
Paaaaalease. You don't owe me anything in return. They were free samples I got at the Grow Show and I'm more than happy to pass them along. I never tried it because I've gotten myself into a happy little place as far as nutes are concerned. There is too much hype and bullshit out there and I'm susceptible to all of them....so I limit myself. :D

Oh, Chef. Did you happen to see the Bodhi Yo Mamma?

Oh hell ya that was cool u sent that to me! I'm only after clusterfunk and cheech wizard at this point tho. But I kno a grip of people who loved that CY. but ya I've got 20 of his strains parked and literally ten years of breeding F2's to get through right nowso I'm limiting my self on new purchases :) ... at least ten years at three months from cracking the beans to the point when seeds would be ready... hell I might have to hit the auctions myself...
