veg/flowering side by side?

i was looking at videos on youtube and noticed on a bunch of them that some growers seem to have their veg grow right next to their flowering grow, in the same room, with no apparent barrier in between. is this possible? considering the light cycles and blah blah blah.

Not without a barrier, it is not possible, unless they are running autos, in which case there is no need for two distinct areas.

Can you post one of the vids?

and i dont really know whats going on here but these 2 lights look like different spectrums side by side

Ok, so in the first vid, looks like dude is using two different lights for flower (or just turned off the HPS and has overhead lighting... I didn't see a veg area at all. Appears he is only flowering.

In the second vid, those are two distinct flower rooms side-by-side. One he says is LED and the other HPS. There is a wall in between, and it's possible he has roll-down tarps for each room, but that is not needed; he's doing a side-by-side flowering test, and if there is any light overlap, it doesn't matter so long as both sides are on the same 12/12 cycle.

Make sense?
