Haven't used that vape, but it can def vary from vape to vape because you aren't smoking the whole thing to ash, you're just focusing on trying to vaporize the THC molecules. I would definitely suggest playing with it at diff temperature settings to see if you feel a difference.
When I vape, the high is generally less intense, but I also usually smoke less as a result of vaporizing rather than taking huge bong rips of thick cloudy/green smoke.

I wouldn't worry about holding your finger over it. I don't. I forget what the part is called.. but it's a little metal thing you need to take out of the bowl to make it work better. if you take the bowl/straw apart you will see a rib looking thing.. toss that lol (sorry for being vague). i'd say it's 1/4 inch long
it should look like tobacco when finished. brown as dirt.
Edit: remove the moisture condenser
I had to look it upI always put it in first... the thing gets too hot to do later. might burn yourself.

Vaporizer efficiency varies from model to model. The best ones are unfortunately high priced. I get absolutely rocked off my vaporizer, with a very intense high, every time, for hours, off small amounts of herb. Ive never used another vape that works as well as the Volcano. Vaping is definitely a different high than smoking, you will get used to it.
I'm having the same problem with my Vapor Brothers Hands Free unit. It functions flawlessly but I'm new to vaporizing and haven't really got a hold of dialing it in. The high is so much cleaner and energetic which is not what I'm after at 2 am. I tried the same strain through my bong and it blazes me up properly. Fresh movie in hand with munchies on deck. I gotta say vaping has been a let down. Can I expect serious couch lock from further use of my vaporizer?

That's the point of a vaporizer its a clear high.
if you enjoy couch lock all day long then you can become a burnout.

Well I did quite a bit of online research on vaporizers before I bought mine and noted the Iolite got some real bad reviews from most of the unbiased sources. It basically determined it was worthless. Sorry. Snag yourself a Magic Flight Launch Box.

so you can recommend it? is it a continuous stream of vapor or is it just small little hits a a time? because a thing that small doesn't seem like it would put out quality hits

I would recommend it if it was it was for one person. Its not something u can pass around a room full of people. Like I said above... I wait a couple minutes before each hit. That way u get great hits
. If u just keep sucking on the thing its not gona work for ya.
Fried.....The point of vaporizing is dependent on the user albeit health concerns or your clear headed high. I smoke mainly at night and prefer couch lock over being slightly baked. Yes.....agreed on vaping during the day but I think that vaping for me might just be a novelty. I think my next investment will be a quality bong.
