UV Bug zapper - bad idea?

I have a bug zapper with a black uv bulb I was just wondering will this hurt the plants at night when its on? its a 40watt black uv bulb and its about 25 feet from the plants. In a white shirt I slightly glow from the light standing next to the plants.

i wouldnt do it uv is ultraviolet which is a light that the sun puts off. the best place for a bug zapper is on the front porch next to the cooler of beer high right side of the rocking chair haha lol. good luck
