Using two lights, one 6500k the other 2700k

I've got two autos growing and I've been told the single light isn't really good enough and was told to keep my 6500k light on one plant, and the 2700k i bought in anticipation of flowering on another. All the stuff I've read says I should switch from the 6500k and not keep it on. I'm just wondering if I should follow the advice given in keeping the 6500k on. I'm not sure what real effects the lights have so I'm asking if.

Cheers

Research and make your own decision. I'm sure you will find the best answer. When you do, note who gave you the advice, then don't listen to the other person anymore.

Depends where your plants are that you are asking.
I read frequently that 5000k will work for veg, but 6500k is what you really want if you have access to it.
They will veg with 2700k, but not as well.
So far, I don't remember reading anything on flowering, but I imagine the same would apply to a certain extent, ie: fluffy buds if you used 6500k's instead of 2700k's.
You didn't mention lumens, are you comfortable with your lumens? Meaning, got a lot?

ive got my blueberry buddy sittin underneath a 6500 and a 2700 just over from the 6500 and my seedlings doing amazing
