Using Root Complex and Enzymes during Flowering?

I suspect I have some weak roots in my coco setup (50-50 coco perlite), also suffering from fungus gnats (low flyers). I've been told to use some root complex and enzymes (I bought today of HESI) to help them strengthen up, but I fear it maybe useless or even counterproductive now as I am 4 weeks into 12/12. Any ideas on this please.

Beneficial microbes and root stimulators will have only slight effect during the last few weeks of flowering, but at the same time it wouldn't be counterproductive.

Was just going to direct you somewhere but I see you 2 have already met. Heisenberg had all the info to help me with my roots. What he says.

The tea is just microbes so it would only have a slight effect on root growth during the last few weeks. It will however immediately begin protecting against disease, and help a great deal with your gnat problem. If you use a product that contains Bacillus thuringiensis, such as great white or mycogrow soluble, gnats will no longer be able to use your buckets as a breeding ground.(it makes the larvae deathly sick) You should also place some sticky fly paper around to catch adult females, and remove any other breeding grounds around the house. (trashcan, litter box, old food, old leaf piles, ect)

Use the tea from day one next time and you will have fewer headaches.

hey heinsberg what is your basic all around tea recipe? there are so many different thing that people use its hard to tell where to start?

My tea has a focus on microbes so it could be used with many different nute schedules. I use them with synthetic nutes in a DWC to protect and stimulate the roots.

2 gal pure water
1 handful ancient forest (or any ewc)
1/2 scoop mycogrow soluble (or great white, ZHO, aquashield, ect)
3 spoonfuls molasses
2ml roots excel (optional)

bubble for 48 hours and store in the fridge. You can follow the link in my sig for more in depth info.
