Using Phosporic acid in soil?

The title pretty much says it all... can you use phosphoric acid for soil PH down? This is the only PH down i have and am not sure if i can use it in soil?
 
Yes you can. I guess people dilute it like 3 parts acid 7 parts water. Though you cant use this for ph down for seedlings bc they can use it as food and you will burn them.
 
I've been indoors in dirt for over ten years and have never once adjusted ph,why are you?

That helps....lol...Maybe his water source isn't as pH balanced as yours, or maybe he's experiencing nute lockout...wow...Sorry not everyone is perfect like you
 
Multiple sources in multiple states from city water to well and never had an issue that was ph related due to water.
 
i've never even had to test or adjust ph up until now for some strange reason, having problems with PH due to the water being around about 7.5..
 
Taint, you don't adjust your pH, what are YOU doing in this thread? It was a question pertaining to whether or not you can use Phosphoric acid as pH down in soil, you don't adjust your pH, so you can't answer the question? Ok,so why are you here?
 
cuz it says soil in the title and I'm fairly good in the dirt.
Are you a dirt guy who adjusts?

What kinda probs are you having and you do know the ph in soil shifts depending on what the plants doing.

I'm just defending the thread, he said he's having issues...and my tap water is pH of 9-9.5, yes I adjust, and I grow in dirt and I have hydro(DWC) right next to it, so I do both.
 
New-medium growth with rusty leaves and some twisted. highly doubt its magnesium/calcium because the nutes already have that in and have been using the same nutes for a while now with no deficiencies at all! have already tried flushing then gradually giving nutes again with no luck
 
I saw yer thread.
Why are yer long flowering outdoor sativa tops so small?.........................musta been a ph issue.

Does that mean ya up potted into new dirt and the growth since then has issues?
 
no, ive had this problem for a while now, but while i've been having these problems ive repotted into a new pot. the root system is ridiculously big, a bit too big i think. i've got a 45cm wide x 35cm high pot and its due another transplant soon too.
