Using nutrients.

watering with nutes is feeding nutes to your plants, do it too much you see some leaf tips going yellow or looking burnt ..nute burn stay sharp

Water them only when they need it.
Every other watering add food.

If your watering daily your pots are too small for your eco system.

Im only watering once a day and only when i see the soil is truly dry, once or twice i gave them a little extra water but thats it. i posted pics on here a few days ago and a bunch of people said they looked good and w.e i was doing was working. I've just only used water so far so I'm trying to get a feel of how to start using nutes. But please take a look and Judge for yourselves, let me know your feedback, I'd appreciate any advice …

p.s I gave them a very diluted watered down formula for the first time, so Charface I should feed them like this every other day, slowly increasing the dosage?

Sounds like overwatering. You are supposed to give it a good watering so that it drains out of the bottom of the pot well. Then it should take several days to dry up. MJ thrives with a bit of a drought period INBETWEEN waterings. If you have watered well and have proper drainage you should be able to wait a few days with NO watering. You are not supposed to water again until the pot is light as a feather. I usually water every 4 days or so. The rate that the plant uses water is dependent on lights used and the heat of your environment. For instance my temps are low 70's and I use LED, so it can take 3-4 days for a nice size plant to be ready for water again. If I was using an HPS light it would dry out my soil quicker. Most common mistake is over watering. I kid you not, MJ likes a bit of a dry spell.

Agree with above. Water your pots until they have decent runoff. Then let them dry out. You can feel the pot when it is dry and when you water and it is heavy. A plant that size in the pots you have them in should not need daily watering. Like above I use LED and dealing with less heat in my environment and I am watering smaller plants the size of yours in 2 gallon pots once a week. As they get bigger and the roots grow the plant will drink more. I am sure I will be up to every 3-4 days soon enough. I do a water water feed schedule or a water feed water schedule if using chem ferts. Don't think more is better when it comes to feeding. Just worry about happy plant that is green. As you get more advanced and grow the same strain a few times then you can mess around with feeding if you want to try and push it. If I am using fox farms or a soil that has food already I wont feed at all first 3-4 weeks.

If your watering every day and have smaller pots that doesn't necessarily mean your doing something wrong. I use 1/2 gal, 1 gal, 3 gal pots and to tell you the truth it matters more about how much you let the root system develop before flower. I water my 3 gal pots every day because I let them grow into mini jungles and have no problems whatsoever. If you don't want to water every day then yeah up the pots but if your doing sea of green you don't want 10 gallon pots with sticks up top.
